Quinta Wall

Quinta Wall is a courtyard added to an old Alentejo farmhouse. A rammed-earth wall closes the fourth side and holds the heat; inside, limestone paving, one mature olive, and a bench that runs the length of the shaded side. In summer it becomes the main room of the house.
