Marés Apartment

Marés is a compact apartment near the sea at Cascais. With little floor area to spare, the work went into the thresholds — wide oak-lined openings, a flush stone sill at the balcony, no trims. The materials are plaster, oak and a single dark stone, repeated throughout so the small rooms read as one.
